retrieve documents and information from public and private sources and much
more.

A: That usually depends on the type of case, the service the investigator is
providing and the training and experience of the person or firm you’re working
with. Rates can range from $50/hr to as high as $150/hr. or more. Many agencies
also offer a flat rate per case.

available to the public. They have the training and experience to know where to
find information in a much more timely fashion than most people would. Private
investigators also frequently come up with new or different information by
